Description

Rapid advancement of technology is resulting in automation of jobs. Today’s graduates must possess skills that help them to move across occupations and sectors. These skills are called transferable skills or soft skills or life skills. Despite the importance of these skills, they are neither generally taught nor assessed. The report presents country papers from six SEA countries viz. Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, which discuss various issues, challenges, ways, and strategies to integrate transferable skills into TVET curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessment.
