The SEA-VET.NET Community is a collaborative space that allows users to connect with one another and discuss topics and issues related to TVET. This space assists community-building and cooperation by providing a comprehensive set of tools to share and exchange ideas in order to advance TVET in Southeast Asia.
The SEA-VET.NET Communities of Practice (CoP) section is an online forum for TVET experts, practitioners, academics and other stakeholders from the region to discuss TVET-related issues, share knowledge and exchange ideas. By forming communities or groups of practitioners who work towards achieving common goals, CoP members can shape the regional TVET discourse. The SEA-VET.NET CoP feature also allows documents and materials to be shared online, promotes events and even enables video conferencing and broadcasting.
‘Experts’ are SEA-VET.NET members that have been trained in, and have experience of, the field of technical and vocational education and training. Once their credentials have been verified, experts receive ‘author’ status, allowing them to submit content to the various sections of the site
‘Institutions’ include TVET line ministries, organisations, academic institutions (e.g. polytechnics), private sector companies and more. Once their credentials have been verified, institutions receive ‘author’ status, allowing them to submit content to the various sections of the site.
