MLVT and CEAIE Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in TVET

Phnom Penh: On the morning of May 30, 2019, a delegation of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) led by Mr. Zhao Ju Li, President of Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational training, Cambodia.

CEAIE members include representatives from twenty-four different Technical and Vocational colleges and institutes in China, such as Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute, Guangxi Eco-engineering Vocational and Technical College, and Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology.

The MOU features seven key corporation perspectives: Professional Development Programs, Curriculum Development Programs, Faculty Workshop Programs, Faculty Exchange Programs, Faculty-Led Study Tours, Student Exchange Programs, and Study Abroad Programs.

The delegation then paid a visit to Cambodia-Wenzhou Vocational College located in the National Technical Training Institute’s campus, after a welcoming lunch, where they met with representatives from ten TVET institutions in Cambodia and signed the Letter of intent between Technical and Vocational schools of the two countries.

Representatives from TVET institutions of the two countries were able to network amongst themselves and exchange business cards in the process to continue future communications and networking.
