In a first batch, 93 of youth in Sittwe will soon benefit from practical skills in home wiring, motorbike and single cylinder engine repairing as well as sewing. This is thanks to new activities being launched by GIZ through a new project called the “Skills Development for Vulnerable Youths in Rakhine State” (SDY). A ceremony marking the opening of the trainings was held at the Khaing Thazin Hall in Sittwe, Rakhine State, Myanmar on 20th October 2018.
