Education and Sports Sector Development Plan (2016-2020)

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Development Plan 2016-2020, developed under the framework “Strategy Plan on the Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training 2006 -2020”, envisages 3 main strategic objectives aligned with the Education Sector Development Framework 2015-2020, 8 strategic programmes, 26 focus areas, and 89 activities. It’s the main document guiding activities in the TVET sector under the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) of Lao PDR. Additionally it provides a comprehensive description of the status quo in the TVET sector (as of 2015) and the socio-economic background for TVET in Lao PDR.
