Timor Leste TVET Communication Plan

This publication describes the TVET communications plan for the promotion of the Mid Level Skills Training Project and absorption of its graduates into the workforce. Under the MLSTP, Certificates III and IV in construction and certificate III in automotive mechanics were offered for the first time in Timor-Leste to plug the skills gaps in construction and automotive trades. The communications plan was adopted to address the issues of relatively low acceptance of women in automotive trades, barriers of perception regarding quality of TVET graduates, identification of viable employment opportunities for skilled graduates by matching them with industry requirements and marketing their skills to potential employers.
