ABOUT SEAMEO VOCTECH'S 32ND REGIONAL MEETING

This event will be attended by Governing Board Members from the eleven SEAMEO member countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam. The meeting will also be attended by SV’s Management led by its Director, Awang Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar. During the meeting, the SV’s Sixth Five Year Development Plan (6th FYDP) achievements and future plans will be tabled for information and endorsement.

During the Opening Ceremony, the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Dr. Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) Ministry of Education will also be launching the new SEAMEO VOCTECH’s Corporate Video.


E-FORUM: "MANAGING PANDEMIC CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ERA OF DIGITALISATION" 

In conjunction with SEAMEO VOCTECH (SV) Regional Centre's 32nd Governing Board Meeting happening on 27 October 2021 via online, an E-Forum on "Managing Pandemic Challenges and Opportunities of TVET in the Era of Digitalisation" will be held virtually on 28 October 2021.

The E-Forum, will be officiated by the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) Ministry of Education of Brunei, Dr. Chin Wei Keh. Three panel discussions involving representatives of SEAMEO member countries, Strategic Partners and the industry, in addition to keynote speeches will be delivered by the representatives of Asian Development Bank (ADB), The Philippines; ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), Brunei Darussalam; International Labour Organisation (ILO), Thailand; Regional Cooperation in TVET (RECOTVET), Vietnam, The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), Germany; and UNESCO-UNEVOC, Germany.
