ScandAsia, Myanmar (19 December, 2020) -  The Danish Embassy in Myanmar released an update on the latest work of bridging between education and industry.

The Ministry of Education is establishing Schools and Industry Partnership (SIP) with the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Universities, TVET institutions and sub-national governments/ institutions in order to close the gap between the knowledge and skills TVET students learnt in schools and actual industry needs.

Under the Partnership, the Ministry has been commissioning several studies and consultation meetings to ensure that the skills students acquire are actually meeting the demands of the industry and that they are prepared for getting decent jobs.

The embassy of Denmark supports the Partnership and hopes to see positive economic growth and development of Myanmar from the SIP activities.
