200,000 citizens received training through the TVET policy set by the Cambodian Government. All their skills and employability have been boosted since 2017.

Prime Minister Hun Sen acknowledged this at the 3rd national TVET day celebration held online. This is a day to help promote TVET and inform the importance of developing a skilled labour force.

The importance of building a skilled labour force will help meet the needs of the labour market both within the country and abroad.

Various TVET related digital content were produced to support the online celebrations. It helps raise public awareness about the significance of TVET.

During the celebration, Mr Hun Sen pushed the public to engage in TVET training to broaden their opportunities. He highlighted matters on the effects on employment, especially for the younger generation.
