LEARNTech Asia 2020 will host a virtual conference on the 18th-19th of June 2020, to discuss new pedagogical and training measures as a response to COVID-19 disruption on education and training.

The spread of COVID-19 is creating a problem in the education sector, with educators having the need to create emergency education provision through more use of technology. This provision is creating a higher demand in the need for education and learning technology, which is now crucial more than ever.

In order to address this transition, outmoded education and training models need to be replaced with new learning modalities. Therefore, new pedagogical and training techniques need to be aligned with the effects of COVID-19 in the education sector.

LEARNTech Asia Conference will aim to analyse and provide concrete solutions to the shifts in the education and training paradigm from the effects of COVID-19. It seeks to provide up-to-date insights to support the learning sector and calls on world experts in the field and offer immediate scalable solutions and tangible strategies.

Three keynote speakers will be attending the conference, namely: Dr. Albert Sangra Morer, UNESCO Chair of Education, Technology & Social Change; Andreas Schleicher, Director of Education and Skills, and Special Advisor on Education Policy to the Secretary-General at OECD; and Professor Michale J. Keppel, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Centre for Future Learning
