A watchmaking school, Prince Horology, has been opened in Cambodia to provide opportunities for the Kingdom’s people to become highly employable skilled professionals.

Founded by the Prince Charitable Organization and backed by the Prince Real Estate Group, the school was founded in Chrouy Changvar district in Cambodia. Investing in vocational education and training is a natural progression of their extensive charity work.

The educational programme aims to equip Cambodians with technical and soft skills such as patience, creativity, and problem-solving, turning them into highly employable professionals in the watchmaking sector. There is a high demand in the ASEAN region for skilled watchmakers.

The course is two-years and students of Cambodian nationality will have to pay $2,500, whereas foreign students would have to pay up to $15,000. The school also aims to provide scholarship to eligible students. The first class at the school will start in June 2020.
