To mark the start of the exchange, the Centre with ITE conducted a sharing session on “Taking Bold Steps, Taking Calculated Risks” comprising esteemed panellists of women entrepreneurs from local enterprises in an effort to provide the GEP Students with more insights and in-depth knowledge on entrepreneurship from the Sultanate.

Following the sharing session, the ITE delegation took part in educational visits to IBTE-YES Centre, Entrepreneurship Village and Shell Live WIRE. As part of their visit, the students were also given the opportunity to visit the local businesses and immerse themselves into the daily operations.
The GEP is an initiative that seeks to create opportunities for ITE students to gain a worldview on education, as well as develop self-confidence and independence to thrive in the global economy. Through its many different programmes, it works to expose students to different cultures, environments and activities – an integral part of holistic education.
