BRUNEI DARUSSALAM. SEAMEO VOCTECH (27 March 2023) - The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) in support of the request from the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore, is organising the Global Exchange Programme (GEP) in Brunei Darussalam in March 2023.

The Centre welcomed 12 final year entrepreneurship students from ITE, accompanied by their 2 teachers during an opening ceremony at the Centre’s headquarters on 27 March 2023.

To mark the start of the exchange, the Centre with ITE conducted a sharing session on “Taking Bold Steps, Taking Calculated Risks” comprising esteemed panellists of women entrepreneurs from local enterprises in an effort to provide the GEP Students with more insights and in-depth knowledge on entrepreneurship from the Sultanate.

The GEP is an initiative that seeks to create opportunities for ITE students to gain a worldview on education, as well as develop self-confidence and independence to thrive in the global economy. Through its many different programmes, it works to expose students to different cultures, environments and activities – an integral part of holistic education.
