SEAMEO-VOCTECH and RECOTVET Launch Learning Highlights to Upgrade TVET Personnel Skills for Digitalisation and Industry

Article
The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) and Regional Cooperation for TVET in ASEAN (RECOTVET) understand the importance of keeping up with the latest trends and demands in the rapidly changing world of work. That is why we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Learning Highlights series, offering the opportunity to upgrade skills and competencies towards digitalisation and Industry 4.0.
Learning Highlights are standalone learning units that have been extracted from the existing In-Service Training Modules “Fit for Industry 4.0” series, focusing on specific topics, and designed to be efficient and effective for an appropriate period of time. These learning units are designed for self-paced learning without direct support of a trainer and are characterised by increased learner engagement and anytime, anywhere access.
The Learning Highlights series covers several topics, including "Digitalisation and Industry 4.0," which is currently open to all learners. "Energy Efficiency Dashboard" and "Steps in Developing Advanced Occupational Standard" will be available soon. By taking advantage of these Learning Highlights, TVET personnel can build their own capacities and adapt the content for teaching and learning materials to match their context.
But that is not all! These Learning Highlights that everyone can access without any cost or enrolment, are available on the SEA-VET.net THINKIFIC platform. SEAMEO-VOCTECH and RECOTVET work together to enhance the competencies of TVET personnel and engage them in capacity development efforts in the most efficient ways.
Join us in upgrading TVET personnel skills and taking the first step towards a brighter future.
