About the Event

European Training Foundation (June, 2021) - The European Training Foundation presents the upcoming online event, organised jointly with UNESCO, entitled ‘Building lifelong learning systems: skills for green and inclusive societies in the digital era’, which will take place from 21 to 25 June 2021.

The conference, which is organised with the collaboration of EBRD, ILO and UNICEF, has a double objective: to create a forum for joint reflection on national and international experience in transforming education and training systems into lifelong learning, and to confirm priorities for future cooperation in the area of human capital development against the backdrop of global developments and challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Thursday 24 June a high-level session will see the participation of: Cesare Onestini, Director, European Training Foundation; Nicolas Schmit, Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, European Commission; Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General for Education, UNESCO; Patrizio Bianchi, Minister for Education, Italy (G20 Presidency); Branko Ružić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development; Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Georgia.

On 25 June the ETF will also unveil the three winners of the ETF Green Skills Award, which will represent the best stories in skills development that empower the green transition.

If you would like to participate: the event will be streamed simultaneously on several social media platforms. You can pick one (Facebook, LinkedIN or Youtube) and watch it from there. For your convenience, here are the direct links to follow the streaming:
