TVET Connex 2018

Background

TVET Connex 2018 is one of the concurrent events at the World Class Educational Resources International Expo and Conference co-organised by Worlddidac Association & Didacta International. It provides an international platform for key TVET stakeholders, including institutions/organisations from the ASEAN and from around the world, to connect with each other.

TVET educators and teachers are needed to be prepared in shaping a future workforce that meets the demands of a global and technology-driven economy. With the theme of "From Zero to Hero", this year's TVET Connex brings together TVET teachers and practitioners to look for more engaging, innovative and practical ways to integrate 21st century knowledge and skills into classroom practices.

Objective

The main objectives of TVET Connex are to provide a platform for TVET institutions/organisations to:

• Gain intelligence from other key regional players for future developments;
• Discuss ways to improve the quality of TVET teaching and learning;
• Showcase themselves and strenghten their positioning; and
• Meet with providers of high quality resources such as funding, technology or other type of services

Participation Criteria - Participants include key TVET institutions/organisations and personnel comprising directors, educators, lecturers, trainers, education executives and professionals, as well as distributors and providers of world-class education resources from the 10 ASEAN countries (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and from many other countries around the world.
