About the Event

An international conference on TVET - Future of TVET Occupational Standards and the 15th AASVET International Conference 2019 (OSAIC 2019), will be held from 6-9 October 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

The conference is jointly organised by Malaysia Department of Skills Development (Ministry of Human Resources), AASVET and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) and a collaboration with other institutions.

The theme of the conference is TVET Occupational Standards and Qualification in the Era of Digital Economy.

The conference is a joint effort of the following:

  1. Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR) Malaysia.
  2. Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET); and
  3. the University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
