1st Indonesian Master Trainer Training 22 April - 3 May 2019
About the Event
The training is a joint effort of KADIN, Ministry of Industry of Indonesia, APINDO, BKSP Jawa Timur and Edukadin in cooperation with leading German institutions (IHK Trier, EKONID and GIZ) that support the development of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in Indonesia.
The involvement of business and industry in the delivery of TVET can play a significant role in preparing ASEAN's workforce for the labour market.
In-company training is globally recognized as a best practice to provide students and apprentices with technical knowledge and practical skills. It complements education in vocational schools by offering hands-on practical training, drawing on up-to-date know-how from business and industry.
The 1st Indonesian Master Trainer training for in-company trainers is based on the German standard for in-company trainers (AdAIB) and the ASEAN In-CT Standard. The training requires that the participants have gone through the in-company trainer course carried out by the IHK Trier and have been certified by EKONID. This will ensure that they are familiar with the concept of in-company training in accordance with the AdAIB.
The Master Trainer training seeks to build on the participants’ current knowledge of in-company training by enabling participants to prepare and conduct effective trainings for in-company trainers. Participants will get to know the ASEAN In-CT Standard as well as good practices and training materials to conduct trainings for in-company trainers in Indonesia, both according to the AdAIB and the ASEAN In-CT Standard.
The training is also going to provide participants with a unique opportunity for peer-learning and exchange with other experienced trainers from Indonesia
