Myanmar Entrepreneur Day

The Start and Improve Your Business Programme (SIYB)  is the largest entrepreneurship development program in the world, and it was introduced to Myanmar in 2014.  Since its introduction in the country, SIYB has expanded on a great scale with over 25,000 entrepreneurs being trained by over 500 active trainers all over Myanmar.

In order to mobilise the local business community and private stakeholders to support the local economic development, SIYB Myanmar is organizing “SIYB Entrepreneur Day 2018” in Magway (Magway Division) on 16th and 17th of November 2018.
This event is planned to include business games, networking games, trade fair, business matching, panel discussions, business consultancy, talk shows, trade shows on stage, “Go Green Magway- Say Less to Plastic” campaign, and awarding ceremonies, among many other interesting activities.
This event will be honored by the Regional Government and SME Department of the Ministry of Industry and ILO Entrepreneurship and SME Support Programme .

Participants

The participants will be entrepreneurs from all over Myanmar who were trained by the SIYB Business Management System, SIYB Master Trainers and Trainers, local business owners, retailer associations, partner organizations and interested entrepreneurs looking for business opportunities and business matching(s).

The event will be a great chance to pay back to the community and create new business opportunities for entrepreneurs. Over 200 booths will be made available for entrepreneurs coming from all across Myanmar to sell and promote their local products or services. During the two full days of activities, entrepreneurs and trainers will enhance their business skills in an enjoyable way and become more aware of the social responsibilities of a responsible entrepreneur.
