Education Ministry allocated RM64.1 Billion, the largest 2020 Budget recipient

The Education Ministry has been allocated the largest budget of RM64.1 billion for the year 2020, which was RM3.9 billion more than this year.
In tabling the budget for 2020, Finance Minister, Lim Guan Eng, has increased the budget allocation for the TVET industry in Malaysia.
He has allocated RM 5.9 billion to TVET in 2020, an increase from this years (2019) budget at RM5.7 billion. This increase is to ensure effort is being made to mainstream the TVET industry.

RM 23 million To equip national schools and ensure they are disabled-friendly
RM 192 million Professional certification programmes under Yayasan Peneraju
RM 783 million Dilapidated schools, especially in Sabah and Sarawah
RM 3.3 billion Educational institutions under Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)
RM 5.9 billion Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
